I am writing as a reference for Ineke Winkelman of Petronella’s Interior Design. We are customers of Petronella’s – Ineke and her team helped us with multiple aspects of our character home in Richmond Hill, Christchurch.

We started our building process while living overseas before Covid-19. We desired a modern take on a traditional New Zealand villa. Ineke immediately understood our vision and got to work. We worked with Ineke remotely on the overall feel of our house along with the kitchen and joinery design. Ineke was wonderfully responsive and mailed multiple samples to us in the U.S. and worked with our time difference to do Zoom calls.

With the arrival of Covid, the situation became even more complex, and Ineke stepped up to ensure our design progressed despite our inability to travel to New Zealand. She liaised with (and chased) our builder, architect and landscape architect to ensure a seamless flow with our house.

Ineke’s brief continued to expand as we spent more time with her. In the end, she was involved in our overall colour scheme, tile selection, hardware, decorative paneling, lighting, drapes/shutters and furniture. There isn’t a room in our wonderful house that Ineke hasn’t touched.

We couldn’t have achieved what we did without Ineke and we would use her again for future projects without hesitation. I would highly recommend her for your project.
