New Character Charm
Inspired by the client’s childhood memories of a traditional New Zealand villa, New Character Charm captures the romance and familiarity of heritage design, reimagined with all the comfort and performance of a modern new build.
While the home was constructed in New Zealand, the clients were based in America, making this a truly collaborative project across continents. Through regular skype calls, detailed emails and carefully curated sample sent by post, we worked closely together to bring their vision to life. A great deal of trust was placed in Petronella’s Interior Design to thoughtfully select colours, finishes, fitting and fixtures from the other side of the world.
Petronella’s Interior Design proudly designed the kitchen for this home, along with supplying and specifying every interior element throughout the residence. The result is a home rich in character and detail, seamlessly blending nostalgia with modern functionality.
Now relocated to New Zealand, the clients are enjoying their beautifully crafted villa, perfectly positioned to take in its stunning ocean views.
